HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET STARTED AFTER APPLYING?

Depends on our current load. We hope it's a few weeks. Because we can't control demand and the timing of that demand we want to stay vague here. ASAP is our mentality.

IS THERE A COST TO WORK WITH UNBOUND?

We do not need to get paid, but there may be costs associated with us helping upgrade the various parts of your org.

Apply through our directory form. We’ll review your information and follow up if we need anything else.

IS THERE A REVIEW OR APPROVAL PROCESS FOR LISTINGS?

Yes. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live.

WHAT CRITERIA DO YOU USE TO DETERMINE A TRANSPARENCY SCORE?

We look at the clarity and completeness of your public information, financial reporting, governance basics, and how easily someone can understand your services.

CAN I UPDATE OR EDIT MY LISTING AFTER IT’S PUBLISHED?

Yes. You can request updates any time to keep your information accurate and current.

HOW OFTEN ARE LISTINGS REVIEWED OR REFRESHED?

Listings are reviewed regularly, and we also update them anytime an organization submits changes.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING LISTED IN THE UNBOUND DIRECTORY?

More visibility, stronger trust with the public, and easier access for people and funders looking for nonprofits they can count on.

DO WE NEED TO BE PART OF THE UNBOUND NETWORK TO APPLY?

No. You can apply to be listed even if you’re not currently receiving operational support through Unbound.

IS THERE A COST TO BE FEATURED IN THE DIRECTORY?

No. We don’t charge nonprofits to be listed.

HOW DO WE REQUEST REMOVAL OR TEMPORARILY HIDE OUR LISTING?

Send a removal request through our directory support email or form, and we’ll take care of it. You can request a temporary hide at any time. We’ll pause the listing and reactivate it when you’re ready.
